The Delhi Congress will soon launch an agitation demanding implementation of the legal provisions for street vendors by the AAP government and civic bodies, including the BJP-ruled municipal corporations. The fight against the inaction of the Delhi government, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and municipal corporations in giving the hawkers their rights under the Street Vendors Act, 2014 will be waged on the streets and also in the courts, Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken said Friday.
